22. New Hampshire
When I travelled to the Northeast, I didn’t intend on New Hampshire being a highlight, but it ended up being quite wonderful.
I don’t have too much to say about the state other than the area being very pleasant. New Hampshire is much more mountainous than it gets credit for, and it gives it such a neat vibe as you are surrounded by some of the tallest Appalachian mountains. I would love to spend more time there because of how beautiful it is everywhere you go.
Mount Washington
And since I don’t have much else to say, I’ll go out on a fun fact. Mount Washington, New Hampshire’s highest point, is widely considered one of the windiest places on earth. The mountain once had winds up to 231 mph, and it is still the highest wind recorded not in a tornado or cyclone. What a neat place!
