Hotel Transylvania 3

Synopsis: Dracula, Mavis, Johnny and the rest of the Drac Pack take a vacation on a luxury Monster Cruise Ship, where Dracula falls in love with the ship’s captain, Ericka, who’s secretly a descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, the notorious monster slayer.

Hotel Transylvania… again. Except this time they're on a cruise. 

This movie definitely feels like a step down from the first in all major departments. Not much really sticks out to me except for a few funny moments like Andy Samberg's character saying "Cute toot, babe!".

It's fine. I don't think I have much to add here. Sorry to all the Hotel Transylvania 3 fans out there. I'm sure there's a couple of them. It does kinda just mesh together with all the other mid Adam Sandler movies as of late, but at least I didn't actively dislike this one. 

But I can't rank it too highly because they missed the chance to play "The Monster" by Eminem ft. Rihanna in the credits, and I can't forgive them for that. I'm friends with the monster. 

This marks a moment where there are 4 Sandler movies left as of when we watched in 2022. We knew there was no way to find the time with the holidays, so we made an executive decision to finish the remaining 4 movies all on one day. And that day was January 1st, 2023. So to finish Sandlerfest, join me over the next few days as I recount my experiences. Will there be a Sandler redemption? You'll just have to wait an see.
